Main Responsibilities

Your primary duties will include:

  • Managing foreign exchange risk while also addressing credit, counterparty, and liquidity risks.
  • Executing foreign exchange trades with external counterparts, including the use of foreign exchange options.
  • Contributing to the development of treasury policies, rules, and strategies.
  • Providing strategic Treasury advice to various divisions within the organization.
  • Active participation as a collaborative team member.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess the following:

  • A Bachelor’s degree in finance, economics, mathematics, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Fluency in English, with additional languages considered an asset.
  • 5 to 10 years of experience in portfolio management within a multinational corporate environment or financial institution.
  • Exceptional skills in financial data analysis, risk assessment, and development of risk management strategies.
  • Profound understanding of foreign exchange markets and the economic factors influencing currency fluctuations.
  • Experience with commonly used financial instruments, financial models, and treasury systems (Bloomberg and/or Reuters).
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills, with an aptitude for evaluating risk scenarios and formulating effective solutions.
  • The ability to perform effectively under pressure in a dynamic environment.
  • Confidence in decision-making in uncertain and high-pressure situations.
  • Exceptional communication skills to articulate complex risk concepts and trading strategies to diverse stakeholders.
  • Knowledge of commodities is a plus.
  • A self-motivated, results-driven team player with a high level of cultural awareness.

Additional Information

This position is full-time (40 hours per week) and located in Pratteln, Switzerland.
