W Talent Property & Real Estate is proud to collaborate closely with a prominent national retailer operating over 300 sites across the country. Our partnership aims to enhance the capabilities of their property team through the addition of a dedicated professional.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the execution of planned and reactive maintenance for the national portfolio by collaborating effectively with the outsourced service provider.
- Ensure that maintenance performance and compliance meet the required SLAs.
- Oversee and manage minor works projects from initial scoping through to completion.
- Engage proactively with the outsourced facilities and maintenance provider, conducting weekly office visits to monitor service delivery.
- Foster strong relationships with internal stakeholders, including support functions, branch partners, and operational leaders.
- Track, forecast, report, and analyze OPEX and CAPEX effectively.
- Identify and drive opportunities for continuous improvement, focusing on process enhancements, cost efficiencies, and service upgrades.
- Utilize data and insights to optimize service delivery and minimize recurring issues.
- Ensure adherence to all relevant health, safety, property, and statutory maintenance regulations.
What You Bring
- Demonstrated experience managing both reactive and planned maintenance across a high-volume portfolio.
- Relevant facilities and property experience, particularly within high-volume retail or similar sectors.
- Experience in managing external contractors, suppliers, KPIs, and SLAs effectively.
- Strong skills in stakeholder engagement, building productive relationships with operational leaders and branch partners.
- Expertise in budget management, ensuring value-for-money solutions are delivered.
- Comprehensive knowledge of relevant compliance and health & safety requirements.
- A valid UK driving license with a willingness to travel to various sites as needed.
Compensation and Benefits
- Competitive salary starting at £55,000 (discussion available).
- Car allowance of £5,000.
- Hybrid working arrangement, typically involving 1-2 days on-site, including one day in Milton Keynes.
