The Opportunity

As a vital member of the estates management team, you will report to the Senior Estates Manager and be responsible for various lease-related activities.

• Lead rent reviews and lease renewals from initiation through completion.
• Negotiate directly with landlords and manage external property consultants.
• Interpret lease provisions, providing expert guidance on related matters.
• Support the management of significant landlord and neighbor disputes.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with property agents, surveyors, and advisers across the UK.
• Monitor market evidence and rental trends to inform business decisions.
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning related to property costs.
• Contribute to process improvements and operational efficiencies across the estates function.

Candidate Profile

The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in estates management and lease negotiation, bringing a commercially astute approach to the role.

• Degree qualification in Real Estate or a related field.
• MRICS accreditation or a clear pathway towards it.
• Proven experience in managing rent reviews and lease renewals.
• Strong negotiation and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience in multi-site commercial property portfolios.
• Excellent communication, organization, and relationship-building abilities.
• Pragmatic, self-motivated with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
