Position Overview

In this role, you will lead a team of 5-10 developers, driving the development, automation, and operation of software utilized by millions globally. You will foster the professional growth of your team, steering them toward crafting high-quality software while cultivating a high-performance engineering culture.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a team of engineers, promoting autonomy and team success.
• Ensure successful monthly releases of SonarQube.
• Oversee the development of platforms for the delivery of functional squads.
• Uphold high engineering standards within the team.
• Cultivate an open culture for feedback and collaboration.
• Align team objectives with company strategy in partnership with product managers and other teams.
• Track sprints and progress while managing processes and ceremonies.
• Coordinate collaboration with stakeholders effectively.
• Assist in recruiting talented engineers and improving the hiring process.
• Ensure effective onboarding for new team members.
• Model the company’s values, including humility and servant leadership.

Experience & Qualifications

• 3+ years in a leadership or management role with a strong track record.
• 8+ years in software development with a solid understanding of software testing.
• Familiarity with the coding lifecycle and practices, including secure code production and code reviews.
• Proficient in the Java ecosystem and DevOps methodologies.
• Experience with Agile methodologies.
• A growth mindset with a strong commitment to team development.
• Exceptional decision-making skills and the ability to manage ambiguity.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with strong problem-solving abilities.
• Capability to navigate and resolve conflicts constructively.
• Autonomous yet collaborative, welcoming feedback from peers.
