Shape the Future of Global E-Invoicing

Join a major global finance technology transformation to establish a new Global E-Invoicing Centre of Expertise (COE). This role offers a unique opportunity to play a key part in shaping product strategy, technical architecture, and the delivery of a scalable global e-invoicing platform. Working across Finance, Tax, and Enterprise Technology, you will drive the development of a compliant, integrated, and future-proof solution that supports evolving international e-invoicing, digital reporting, and Continuous Transaction Controls (CTC) requirements.

Based in Warsaw, Poland, with a hybrid working model, this position provides scope across both product ownership and solution architecture, with responsibilities tailored to your experience and strengths.

Key Responsibilities

  • Contribute to the strategy, roadmap, and delivery of a global e-invoicing platform, ensuring alignment with business priorities and evolving regulatory requirements.
  • Define and maintain product roadmaps, technical architectures, solution blueprints, and integration strategies.
  • Support the establishment and development of the Global E-Invoicing Centre of Expertise, including governance, operating models, and standardised ways of working.
  • Drive Agile delivery through product backlog management, requirements definition, user stories, acceptance criteria, and collaboration with engineering teams.
  • Design and oversee integrations between e-invoicing platforms, ERP systems, and external service providers, including SAP ECC/S/4HANA and relevant finance applications.
  • Ensure solutions support end-to-end finance processes, including Order to Cash (O2C), Invoice to Pay (I2P), and Record to Report (R2R).
  • Translate global and local tax compliance requirements into scalable product capabilities and technical solutions.
  • Collaborate with global stakeholders across Finance, Tax, Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, Legal, Security, and IT.
  • Support country rollouts, technical design decisions, vendor management, solution governance, and continuous improvement.
  • Drive standardisation, automation, operational efficiency, and adoption across the global e-invoicing landscape.

Essential Experience

  • Strong experience in e-invoicing, digital tax compliance, electronic document exchange, or EDI within an enterprise environment.
  • Proven experience in one or both of the following areas:
    • Product Ownership / Product Management: Product vision, roadmap development, backlog prioritisation, Agile delivery, and stakeholder management.
    • Solution Architecture / Technical Leadership: Enterprise solution design, integration architecture, technical blueprints, and scalable platform development.
  • Good understanding of end-to-end finance processes, particularly O2C, I2P / procure-to-pay, and R2R.
  • Experience working with ERP platforms, ideally SAP ECC and/or S/4HANA, and integrating financial transactional data with e-invoicing solutions.
  • Knowledge of international e-invoicing regulations, digital reporting requirements, Peppol, and/or Continuous Transaction Controls (CTC).
  • Experience working with global stakeholders, cross-functional teams, and complex enterprise technology environments.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to bridge business, regulatory, and technical requirements.

Desirable Experience

  • Experience with SAP Document and Reporting Compliance (DRC), eDocument Cockpit, VIM, EDICOM, or HighRadius.
  • Exposure to e-invoicing providers such as Sovos, Pagero, Avalara, Tungsten Network, or similar platforms.
  • Knowledge of integration technologies including APIs, EDI, IDoc, SAP BTP, MuleSoft, or Dell Boomi.
  • Familiarity with XML, UBL, CII, JSON, and Peppol standards.
  • Experience establishing or scaling a global Centre of Expertise, global product, or standardised platform.
  • Understanding of regional regulatory initiatives, including ViDA and country-specific clearance or digital reporting mandates.
  • Experience with Agile/Scrum, Jira, or Azure DevOps.

Why Join?

  • Play a key role in building a new global e-invoicing capability from the ground up.
  • Influence the product strategy and technical direction of a business-critical global finance platform.
  • Work at the intersection of enterprise architecture, finance transformation, and evolving international tax regulations.
  • Join a high-impact, cross-functional initiative with a 12-month initial contract, extension potential, and the possibility of a permanent position.
