Aiglon College, situated in the picturesque Swiss Alps, is an esteemed international boarding school renowned for delivering a comprehensive and challenging educational experience. Our Summer Camp, catering to over 500 students aged 8-16 from more than 45 countries, embodies a commitment to holistic education within a nurturing and secure environment. Mission
Our aim is to provide Summer Camp students with a creative, hands-on, and inspiring introduction to DJing and music production. We seek individuals who can share their expertise and engage students through dynamic activities.
Key Responsibilities
- Facilitate DJ-focused social evenings in 120-minute sessions that include:
- A live DJ set
- Mixing fundamentals: creating playlists and beat-matching tracks
- DJ controls and effects: utilizing EQ knobs and audio effects such as delay and reverb
- Turntable techniques: scratching and beat juggling
- Rhythm and performance skills, including finger drumming and rhythm exercises
- Clear explanation of DJ techniques
- Supervised student interaction and hands-on practice in a dynamic, engaging environment
- Ensure all sessions are fully supervised and conducted using professional equipment within a safe, structured environment.
- Deliver a memorable introduction to DJing that fosters musical listening, rhythm, and collaboration skills among students.
- Commit to offering one evening session per week from 29th June to 27th July 2026.
Additional Responsibilities
- Perform other tasks reasonably required by the Director of Summer Camp to support the smooth operation of the program.
- Understand and implement all school policies and procedures, especially those pertaining to the safeguarding of children and young people.
- Adhere to the School’s Guiding Principles and consistently uphold the ethos of the School.
