Position Overview

The role involves a critical focus on enhancing marketing excellence within the organization across various international markets and regions. Responsibilities include developing comprehensive marketing capabilities, creating a holistic learning framework, and ensuring teams are equipped to excel in an evolving customer experience environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with internal and external thought leaders to assess and define necessary capabilities, training needs, behaviors, and skills essential for marketing excellence.
  • Develop a future-ready marketing capabilities framework and a learning curriculum that aligns with the organization's capabilities roadmap.
  • Lead design and delivery of impactful in-house training and train-the-trainer programs for international markets.
  • Establish and lead communities of practice to ensure accountability for successful capability development.
  • Design KPIs and benchmarks for marketing capabilities and develop a roadmap for continuous improvement.
  • Stay at the forefront of marketing capability evaluations and trends, ensuring the function transforms into an agile learning organization.
  • Foster a work environment that empowers individuals and promotes high-performing teams.
  • Actively participate as a member of the leadership team, collaborating with functional leaders to align capabilities with business objectives.

Essential Qualifications

  • 2 to 5 years of experience in marketing and skills training within a regulated industry.
  • A minimum of 10 years of multi-functional experience in pharmaceutical or healthcare sectors.
  • Demonstrated experience in leading and delivering marketing learning curricula and solutions.
  • Strong understanding of training design concepts and tools.
  • Proven experience in facilitating digital transformation and enhancing customer experience capabilities.
  • Strong influencing skills and the ability to drive change within a complex organizational structure.
  • Exceptional communication skills, capable of simplifying complex ideas for diverse audiences.

  • Experience in large market commercial environments.
  • A proactive intrapreneurial spirit, comfortable in fast-paced and ambiguous settings.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple complex projects simultaneously while adapting to changing priorities.

Location

This position offers flexibility, with the option to be based in Basel, Switzerland, London, UK, or Barcelona, Spain.
