In this position, you will play a crucial role in connecting insights from patients, customers, and competitors throughout the entire value chain, from early pipeline development to post-launch phases. Your influence will shape portfolio and brand strategies across key therapeutic areas.

Core Responsibilities

  • Lead integrated insights plans that drive pipeline, portfolio, Business Development, Licensing decisions, and launch excellence.
  • Map patient and customer journeys to identify unmet needs and growth opportunities across therapeutic areas.
  • Utilize advanced analytics, forecasting, and artificial intelligence techniques to generate actionable insights.
  • Synthesize complex data into compelling narratives and recommendations for senior leadership.
  • Collaborate closely with teams in early development, commercial, market access, and strategy to ensure aligned decision-making.
  • Conduct competitive intelligence and positioning to inform brand strategy and differentiation.
  • Manage external partners and vendors to execute high-quality, cost-effective insights programs.
  • Enhance team capabilities through the sharing of best practices and the promotion of a culture focused on continuous improvement.
  • Provide thought leadership in therapeutic areas including Oncology, Cardiovascular, Renal and Metabolism, Neuroscience, and Immunology.
  • Anticipate future trends and their implications to guide investment choices and portfolio prioritization.

Essential Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences, Business, Economics, or Market Research; advanced degree preferred.
  • A minimum of ten years of experience in generating insights within the pharmaceuticals or biotechnology sectors across various therapeutic areas.
  • Demonstrated expertise in qualitative and quantitative research, advanced analytics, and forecasting techniques.
  • Proven capability in translating complex data into clear, actionable insights that facilitate high-impact decision-making.
  • Strong understanding of drug development processes, regulatory frameworks, and pharmaceutical market dynamics outside of the United States.
  • Exceptional presentation, communication, and interpersonal skills; adept at collaborating effectively across all levels of an organization.
  • Experience in global, cross-functional environments working with diverse stakeholders.
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to prioritize and deliver under tight deadlines; proficient in data sources, analytical tools, and emerging technologies including artificial intelligence.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in building insights capabilities and promoting best practices across various communities.
  • Hands-on experience with artificial intelligence-driven research, predictive analytics, and data visualization techniques.
  • International experience in the Top 11 countries, particularly in healthcare systems involving patient- and HCP-level data.
