Position Overview
The role involves being a pivotal member of the COLTENE Group’s Marketing and Product Management leadership team. This position is focused on steering the strategic direction and ensuring operational success of the products within the Dental Preservation segment. A strong foundation in business acumen along with a deep understanding of Endodontic and Restorative workflows is essential.
Key Responsibilities
- Strategic Direction & Execution: Define and implement the overall strategy for the business unit, ensuring alignment with corporate objectives and market opportunities.
- Financial Management: Manage budgets and product margins, ensuring financial targets are achieved through effective resource allocation.
- Portfolio Management: Oversee the product portfolio, working closely with teams to enhance product performance and revenue growth.
- Market & Competitive Analysis: Analyze market trends and customer insights to guide strategic decision-making and identify new opportunities.
- Cross-Functional Leadership: Collaborate with R&D, marketing, sales, and regulatory teams to drive integrated initiatives that enhance product and operational performance.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Build relationships with key customers and industry influencers to support business objectives.
- Innovation & Process Improvement: Lead initiatives driving new product development and integrating new technologies.
- Operational Excellence: Streamline processes and ensure compliance with industry regulations to maintain high-quality standards.
- Talent Management: Mentor team members, fostering a high-performance culture and supporting their professional development.
- Sales & Marketing Alignment: Collaborate with sales and marketing leaders to craft effective product launches and market strategies.
- Risk Management: Identify and mitigate potential risks to ensure sustainable operations.
- Reporting & Strategic Insight: Provide performance reports and strategic recommendations to support informed decision-making at senior leadership levels.
Qualifications
- Master’s degree, MBA or equivalent advanced degree in Engineering, Business, Healthcare Management, or a related field; Bachelor’s degree required.
- A minimum of 10 years of experience in business management or leadership roles within the dental, medical device, or healthcare industry, including at least 5 years in a senior management capacity.
- Experience in dental manufacturing or regulated industries is essential.
- Proven ability to manage product development and lifecycle for Endodontic and Restorative products.
- Demonstrated capability in developing and executing business strategies and managing P&L responsibilities.
- Strong financial, analytical, and budgeting skills with a successful track record in managing budgets and forecasting.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and leadership abilities.
