In this position, you'll play a crucial role in connecting our investment, coverage, and compliance teams with IT, enhancing efficiency through customized digital tools, comprehensive reporting solutions, and process automation. Your expertise will be vital in ensuring that both front-office and back-office workflows are innovative, user-friendly, and compliant, while also providing Russian-language support for client segments from Eastern Europe and Central Asia.
Key Responsibilities
- Requirements & Process Mapping: Collaborate with portfolio managers, relationship managers, compliance officers, and operations to document existing workflows, identify challenges, and convert needs into technical specifications.
- Reporting & Dashboards: Create and maintain interactive dashboards (using Power BI or equivalent) to monitor portfolio performance, risk metrics, and regulatory KPIs.
- Data Integration & Automation: Extract and clean data from CRM systems, custodians, and market data feeds (utilizing SQL, Python, or ETL tools); automate routine reporting tasks and conduct data quality checks.
- User Support & Training: Serve as the primary IT contact for non-technical colleagues; provide training sessions and documentation for new digital tools and processes.
- Project Coordination: Manage small-to-medium digital transformation projects from initiation to completion—planning timelines, coordinating stakeholders, and ensuring timely delivery.
- Client Communication: Prepare materials in Russian for clients (including reports and presentations) and assist the coverage team in engaging with Eastern Europe and Central Asia client segments.
Required Qualifications
- Education: Master’s degree in Business Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Experience: 1–2 years in a business analysis, BI/developer, or process automation role; experience in financial services is highly beneficial.
Technical Skills
- Reporting tools: Proficiency in Power BI, Tableau, or similar (including data modeling and DAX).
- Scripting/ETL: Competence in Python or R, SQL for data extraction and transformation.
- Familiarity: Knowledge of CRM platforms (e.g., Salesforce, Slack) and the Office 365 Suite, including Excel.
Languages
- English: Fluent (verbal and written).
- Russian: Fluent/native (verbal and written).
- Central Asia languages: Proficiency (verbal and written) is an advantage.
Interpersonal Skills
A successful candidate will be a strong communicator, detail-oriented, and capable of working both independently and collaboratively within small teams.
