About Our Team
We specialize in R&D Near Patient Care System Development & Integration, crafting ready-to-use in vitro diagnostic (IVD) systems for near-patient testing. Our state-of-the-art blood gas analysis technology empowers healthcare professionals to make critical decisions for patients in high-stakes environments such as emergency rooms, intensive care units, and operating rooms.
Your Role
Join our workflow development and system integration team and actively participate in the design and enhancement of new instrument prototypes, propelling the future of blood gas analysis.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and refine fluid control workflows for our new analyzer.
- Investigate technical challenges related to blood and calibration fluid control, proposing insightful design modifications.
- Create analytical tools to evaluate the performance of the new system.
- Design experiments to assess various aspects of system performance.
- Ensure operation of prototype analyzers in blood lab settings.
Essential Qualifications
- MSc degree in Engineering (Mechatronics, Electronics, Mechanics, Fluidics, etc.).
- A minimum of 3 years of professional experience in a relevant industry or research setting, particularly in workflow development for blood gas analyzers.
- Strong understanding of complex system interactions.
- Proficient in Python programming and data analysis; experience with C++ is a plus.
- Familiarity with systems engineering principles.
- Adept at generating structured documentation and investigation reports.
- Determined in identifying and resolving technical issues collaboratively with an engineering and scientific team.
- Self-sufficient and effective in networking to garner support for your initiatives.
- Fluency in English (written and spoken).
Preferred Qualifications
- Proficiency in the German language.
