Your Role

In this key position, you will work hand-in-hand with the Housemaster or Housemistress to cultivate a nurturing home filled with warmth and purpose. Your responsibilities will include:

• Supporting the pastoral care of students and ensuring smooth operations in the house in the absence of the Housemaster or Housemistress.
• Building strong, trusting relationships within the house.
• Communicating proactively with the parents of students in your care.
• Gaining invaluable experience in a boarding education environment.
• Contributing to the school’s wider aspirations and values.
• Teaching a limited timetable and engaging in co-curricular activities, including weekend events and trips.

Qualifications and Experience

We are seeking professionals who have:

• A degree or equivalent qualification; teaching or additional professional qualifications are desirable.
• A proven track record in teaching and boarding experience.
