Role Overview
The position entails shaping Climeworks' communications regarding strategy, performance, progress, and impact for key stakeholders. This role reports to the VP Communications & Branding and focuses on developing Climeworks’ corporate narrative and strategic messaging to ensure compelling and consistent communications across all channels.
Key Responsibilities
- Corporate Narrative and Messaging: Own and evolve the corporate narrative and messaging framework, ensuring clarity and consistency in communications regarding business, strategy, progress, and impact.
- Corporate Reporting: Lead the creation and delivery of the Annual Report, Sustainability Report, and quarterly investor reporting, ensuring high-quality content and coherent storytelling.
- Executive Communications and Thought Leadership: Collaborate with the VP Communications & Branding to create impactful executive communications across various platforms.
Experience and Skills Required
- Around 10+ years of relevant experience in corporate communications, financial communications, investor communications, journalism, corporate reporting, or sustainability communications.
- Exceptional writing and editing capabilities with a focus on clarity and persuasion.
- Strong proficiency in developing corporate narratives and messaging tailored to strategic priorities.
- Significant background in leading major corporate reports, including annual and sustainability reports.
- Understanding of business strategy and stakeholder communications, coupled with strong editorial judgment.
- Experience in high-pressure environments and collaboration with senior executives and cross-functional teams.
- Background in climate, sustainability, energy, or technology sectors is preferred.
