Consultant/Senior Consultant Global Mobility Services

Location and Workload

Situated in the vibrant city of Lausanne, this opportunity requires a full-time commitment of 100% and offers flexibility in the start date by arrangement.

Your Contribution

In this role, you will play a vital part in various Swiss tax-related activities, including:

• Preparation and review of Swiss tax returns, tax equalization calculations, and projections for individual clients.
• Handling correspondence with tax authorities concerning notices and audits for individuals and expatriates.
• Advising clients on a broad spectrum of Swiss tax issues, such as tax residence, cross-border implications, social security, taxable benefits, and reconciliation processes.
• Engaging in discussions and negotiations with tax authorities over rulings, appeals, and complex tax situations.
• Communicating with individual taxpayers and collaborating with other offices.
• Assisting in the preparation of engagement letters, client offers, and invoicing processes.

Qualifications for Success

To thrive in this role, candidates should possess the following qualifications:

• A Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
• A strong interest in taxation, ideally with initial experience in Swiss individual taxation, typically gained within a Big Four firm or fiduciary company.
• An innovative, proactive mindset with a quick learning ability and a readiness to embrace challenges.
• A commitment to exceptional client service, along with excellent organizational skills to manage multiple priorities and adhere to tight deadlines.
• A keen eye for detail and a strong numerical aptitude.
• The ability to collaborate effectively in a multicultural environment, highlighting team spirit.
• Fluency in both French and English; additional language skills are a significant asset.
