The Opportunity

Our Business Consulting team provides a wide range of services, focusing on delivering trusted advice in the Financial Services industry, including Wealth & Asset Management (WAM), Banking and Capital Markets (BCM), and Insurance sectors. As the Financial Services industry faces significant transformation and challenges, it is an opportune time to be a part of a dynamic team that assists clients in navigating these changes. By contributing to our Transformation Execution Practice, you will play a crucial role in supporting complex transformations and delivering innovative solutions tailored to our clients’ needs.

Your Key Responsibilities

  • Pursue business-driven, tech-enabled transformation initiatives in the Financial Services sector.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders and multidisciplinary teams to shape ideas and design solutions that yield measurable improvements in performance.
  • Utilize storytelling capabilities to present recommendations in an analytical and comprehensible manner.
  • Leverage and enhance our global methodologies, frameworks, tools, accelerators, and enablers for various transformation objectives.
  • Enhance your skills through client engagements and internal training opportunities.
  • Facilitate topic roundtables and thought leadership sessions.
  • Support business development initiatives to continually deliver valuable solutions for our clients.

Skills and Attributes for Success

  • Strong academic background from a leading university or university of applied sciences.
  • High motivation to excel in a dynamic consulting environment within the financial services sector.
  • Experience in collaborative projects, either academically or through internships.
  • Ability to approach problems with curiosity and structure them systematically.
  • Excellent presentation skills coupled with a client-oriented mindset.
  • A supportive team player, eager to contribute within diverse and motivated teams.
  • Proficiency in English and German is essential; Swiss German and additional languages are advantageous.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Some work experience in consulting or the Financial Services industry (e.g., internships or entry-level positions).
  • Interest and experience in Target Operating Model (TOM) design and process improvements.
  • Familiarity with Agile and Design Thinking methodologies.
  • Interest in Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) matters.
