Opportunity Overview

The EY Business Consulting team provides a wide array of functional and cross-country services, specializing in trusted advice for clients in the Financial Services sector, including Wealth & Asset Management (WAM), Banking and Capital Markets (BCM), and Insurance. In our Transformation Execution Practice, you will support the execution of complex projects within WAM, BCM, and insurance, designing, planning, and delivering impactful solutions.

Your Responsibilities

• Pursuing business-led, tech-enabled transformation initiatives across the Financial Services sector.
• Collaborating with stakeholders and multi-disciplinary teams to shape ideas, design solutions, and deliver measurable improvements in business performance.
• Presenting recommendations to clients using strong storytelling skills and analytical clarity.
• Leveraging global EY methodologies, frameworks, tools, and accelerators to achieve various transformation goals.
• Enhancing your skills through client engagement and internal training opportunities.
• Facilitating thought leadership sessions and discussions on key topics.
• Supporting business development initiatives to deliver valuable solutions for clients.

• Strong academic background from a leading university or university of applied sciences.
• A high motivation to work in a dynamic consulting environment within the financial services sector.
• Experience with team-based projects, whether from university or internships.
• A curious mind capable of organizing and structuring complex problems.
• Exceptional presentation skills and a client-oriented approach.
• A collaborative team player ready to support solutions in a diverse and motivated team environment.
• Fluency in both English and German is essential; proficiency in Swiss German or additional languages is a plus.

Preferred Qualifications

• Initial work experience in consulting or financial services (e.g., internships, entry-level positions).
• Interest in Target Operating Model (TOM) design and process improvement.
• Familiarity with Agile and Design Thinking methodologies.
• A keen interest in Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) factors.
