The Opportunity
In our Business Consulting team, we offer a comprehensive suite of functional and cross-country services tailored for the Financial Services industry, covering Wealth & Asset Management (WAM), Banking and Capital Markets (BCM), and Insurance sectors. This is a pivotal moment for the Financial Services industry as it undergoes significant changes and faces new challenges. Your Key Responsibilities
- Pursuing business-led and technology-enabled transformation initiatives within the Financial Services sector.
- Collaborating with stakeholders, business partners, and multidisciplinary teams to design solutions that deliver sustainable improvements in business performance.
- Utilizing storytelling capabilities to present recommendations clearly and analytically to clients.
- Applying and expanding our global EY methodologies, frameworks, tools, and accelerators to achieve various transformation goals.
- Enhancing your skills through client experiences and internal training opportunities.
- Facilitating topic roundtables and thought leadership sessions.
- Supporting business development initiatives to provide valuable solutions for our clients.
Skills and Attributes for Success
- Strong academic background from a leading university or university of applied sciences.
- High motivation to thrive in a dynamic consulting environment and within the financial services sector.
- Experience in team-based projects, either from academic settings or internships.
- A curious mindset with the ability to systematically approach problems.
- Exceptional presentation skills and a client-oriented approach.
- A strong team player, eager to support diverse teams across functions and geographies.
- Fluency in English and German is required; proficiency in Swiss German and additional languages is advantageous.
Additional Ideal Qualifications
- Initial experience in consulting or financial services through internships or entry-level positions.
- Interest in Target Operating Model (TOM) design and process improvements.
- Familiarity with Agile and Design Thinking methodologies.
