The Opportunity
The Business Consulting team offers an extensive range of functional and cross-country services dedicated to providing trusted advice to clients within the Financial Services industry. This includes Wealth & Asset Management (WAM), Banking and Capital Markets (BCM), and Insurance. The evolving landscape of financial services presents both challenges and opportunities, making this an exciting time to join our team and assist clients in navigating their needs.
As part of the Transformation Execution Practice, you will play a vital role in supporting transformation initiatives and delivering tailored solutions for our clients.
Your Key Responsibilities
- Pursue innovative business-led and tech-enabled transformation initiatives within the Financial Services sector.
- Collaborate with stakeholders, business partners, and cross-functional teams to shape ideas and design solutions that deliver measurable improvements in business performance.
- Utilize storytelling skills to communicate recommendations clearly and analytically to clients.
- Leverage and enhance global methodologies, frameworks, and tools for diverse transformation objectives.
- Develop skills through hands-on client experience and internal training opportunities.
- Facilitate discussions and thought leadership sessions for both internal and external audiences.
- Support business development initiatives to continuously provide valuable solutions for clients.
Skills and Attributes for Success
- Strong academic background from a leading university or university of applied sciences.
- A genuine motivation to work within the dynamic consulting environment of the financial services sector.
- Experience in team-based projects, whether through academic pursuits or internships.
- A curious mindset capable of systematically structuring problems.
- Exceptional presentation skills and a client-focused attitude.
- A collaborative team player willing to support diverse and motivated teams across various functions.
- Fluency in English and German is essential, and knowledge of Swiss German or other languages is a plus.
Ideal Additional Qualifications
- Preliminary work experience in consulting or Financial Services, such as internships or entry-level positions.
- Interest in Target Operating Model (TOM) design and process improvements.
- Familiarity with Agile and Design Thinking methodologies.
- Awareness of Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) matters.
