The Opportunity
Our Business Consulting team is dedicated to offering a comprehensive range of functional and cross-country services that provide trusted advice to clients in the Financial Services sector, including Wealth & Asset Management (WAM), Banking and Capital Markets (BCM), and the Insurance industries. With the Financial Services landscape undergoing significant change, this is an exciting time to join a dynamic and evolving team that supports clients in navigating market and customer needs.
Your Key Responsibilities
- Pursuing innovative, business-led and tech-enabled transformation initiatives across the Financial Services sector.
- Collaborating with key stakeholders, business partners, and multi-disciplinary teams to shape ideas, design solutions, and deliver measurable improvements in business performance.
- Utilizing storytelling skills to present recommendations to clients in a clear and analytical manner.
- Leveraging and further developing global EY methodologies, frameworks, tools, accelerators, and enablers for diverse transformation goals.
- Enhancing your skills through on-the-job client experiences and internal training opportunities.
- Facilitating internal and external topic roundtables and thought leadership sessions.
- Supporting go-to-market and business development initiatives to continuously deliver valuable client solutions.
Skills and Attributes for Success
- Excellent academic record from a recognized university or university of applied sciences.
- Strong motivation to contribute in a dynamic consulting environment within the financial services sector.
- Experience in team-based projects through internships or university involvement.
- A curious mind capable of systematically structuring problems.
- Exceptional presentation skills paired with a highly client-oriented attitude.
- A collaborative team player eager to support diverse teams across functions and geographies.
- Fluency in English and German is essential, with additional languages being a valuable asset.
Additional Qualifications
- Initial work experience in consulting or Financial Services, through internships or entry-level positions.
- Interest or experience in target operating model (TOM) design and process improvements.
- Familiarity with Agile and Design Thinking methodologies.
- Understanding or interest in ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) factors.
