Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate the Civil, Structural, and Architectural work packages.
- Manage Site Safety in collaboration with the Mercury Safety Advisor, overseeing all related documentation.
- Oversee Site Quality Assurance in conjunction with the Mercury Project Manager and project team, including documentation management.
- Manage the Project Schedule in cooperation with Planners, Project Managers, Sub-Contractors, and consulting Engineers/Architects, aligning with Mercury Engineering and Client requirements.
- Handle all project-related costs with the support of the project quantity surveyor, encompassing:
- Labour
- Material
- Plant and Equipment
- Variations
- Valuations
- Supervise all daily site operations.
- Manage sub-contractor activities, monitoring progress against schedules and staffing levels, ensuring documented weekly meetings.
- Ensure all sub-contractor documentation, including safety documents, is current and properly filed.
- Participate in Site Meetings, Internal Project Reviews, Engineering Reviews, Planning and Coordination Meetings, and Handover Meetings.
- Close out all project items with the project team, including Final Accounts, O&M Manuals, Punch Lists, Safety Files, QA Files, Material and Plant relocations, and Project Plans.
- Prepare Daily Reports for the Project Manager.
- Provide weekly safety statistics and project labour forecasts.
- Conduct weekly commercial meetings with the commercial team to capture all variations and communicate costs to clients.
- Develop and implement company procedures in collaboration with Project Managers.
- Ensure effective management of change (Cost & Programme).
- Review drawings and setting out details.
- Produce builders' works drawings for services.
- Distribute and close out CSA snags.
- Perform all additional relevant duties as required by the company, acknowledging that the scope and nature of tasks may evolve with business requirements.
Essential Criteria
- Strong working knowledge of the CSA Construction process.
- 5 to 7 years of experience in a CSA Construction Manager/ Supervisor role.
- Trade background or degree in a relevant engineering/construction field.
- German language skills would be advantageous.
- Demonstrated track record in the coordination and management of large-scale projects.
- Data Centre experience would be beneficial.
