Role Overview
As Formula Swiss AG enters a new phase of growth and organisational development, we seek a commercially minded professional with strong analytical skills to enhance execution, support vital decision-making, and create a scalable foundation for future expansion.
This role focuses on utilizing economic reasoning to inform operational and commercial decision-making, covering aspects such as pricing, demand forecasting, cost optimisation, production planning, and capital allocation. The aim is to convert data and market demand into informed decisions that enhance profit margins, bolster capital efficiency, and sustain long-term revenue stability.
During the CEO's medical leave, the selected individual will assume significant day-to-day responsibilities, playing a vital role in navigating the business through an essential growth phase. The position entails comprehensive exposure to operations, supply chain management, planning, product launches, and commercial execution.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage a substantial portion of the CEO’s operational and commercial responsibilities during their absence.
- Guide the business through a significant growth period in Switzerland and internationally.
- Lead the operational execution of numerous product launches in 2026, ensuring coordinated and timely delivery.
- Convert growth targets into economically viable operating plans, encompassing pricing, production schedules, inventory strategies, and working capital management.
- Develop and maintain cost, margin, and demand models to support informed business decisions.
- Create decision-making frameworks using applied artificial intelligence to assess product formulations, consumer demand, sales forecasting, customer preferences, and effective marketing strategies.
- Oversee operational processes across forecasting, reporting, procurement, inventory, and supplier coordination.
- Align production planning with demand forecasts and stock requirements.
- Enhance operational efficiency, foster internal coordination, and define a clear operational structure across the organisation.
- Assist leadership with prioritization, decision-making, and maintaining business continuity.
- Establish scalable systems and processes to facilitate long-term growth.
Candidate Profile
The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical capabilities, reliability, and a commercial mindset, alongside the maturity to tackle complex operational challenges. A combination of quantitative skills, effective execution, and an entrepreneurial spirit is essential.
While previous full-time work experience is not required, exceptional recent graduates with outstanding academic backgrounds, strong analytical aptitude, and a desire for significant responsibility are highly encouraged to apply.
Required Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Economics or a related quantitative discipline from a leading university.
- Fluent or native-level proficiency in English.
- Solid understanding of economics, including pricing, cost structures, demand planning, and working capital optimisation.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Capability to transform complexity into practical systems and execution.
- A high degree of digital literacy and strong organisational discipline.
- Entrepreneurial mindset, demonstrating confidence in a fast-paced business context.
- Aptitude for managing a high-volume launch calendar with meticulous attention to detail.
