Role Overview
This role involves applying economic reasoning to operational and commercial decision-making, encompassing areas such as pricing, demand forecasting, cost optimization, production planning, and capital allocation. The objective is to utilize data and market demand to enhance margins, improve capital efficiency, and ensure long-term revenue stability.
During the CEO's medical leave, the selected candidate will assume significant daily responsibilities, supporting the business through a crucial growth phase. This hands-on position offers broad exposure across operations, supply chain management, planning, product launches, and commercial execution.
The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in steering an ambitious pipeline of 20 to 30 product launches across Switzerland and international markets in 2026, necessitating strong coordination across various facets of planning, production, inventory, timelines, and market execution.
A key aspect of this role is the development of decision-making models through applied artificial intelligence to evaluate formulations, consumer demand, sales forecasting, customer preferences, and effective marketing strategies in Switzerland and beyond.
Key Responsibilities
- Assume a significant portion of the CEO’s operational and commercial responsibilities during his medical leave.
- Support the business through a robust growth phase in Switzerland and internationally.
- Lead the operational execution of 50 to 100 product launches in 2026, ensuring timely and coordinated delivery.
- Convert growth targets into economically sound operating plans, covering pricing, production cadence, inventory planning, and working capital management.
- Construct and sustain cost, margin, and demand models for improved business decision-making.
- Create decision-making models leveraging applied artificial intelligence to assess formulations, consumer demand, sales forecasting, customer preferences, and marketing strategies in both Swiss and international markets.
- Oversee operational processes related to forecasting, reporting, procurement, inventory, and supplier coordination.
- Align production planning with demand forecasts and stock requirements.
- Enhance efficiency, strengthen internal coordination, and develop a clear operational structure across the organization.
- Assist leadership with prioritization, decision-making, and maintaining business continuity.
- Establish scalable systems and processes to facilitate long-term growth.
Candidate Profile

No previous full-time work experience is necessary; exceptional recent graduates with excellent academic backgrounds, strong analytical skills, and a willingness to assume significant responsibility are particularly encouraged to express their interest.
Required Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Economics or a closely related quantitative discipline from a leading university.
- Fluent or native-level proficiency in English.
- Strong grounding in economics, including pricing, cost structures, demand planning, and working capital optimization.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
- Ability to simplify complexity into actionable systems and clear execution.
- High digital fluency and strong organizational discipline.
- Entrepreneurial mindset and confidence in a dynamic business environment.
- Capacity to manage a high-volume launch calendar with attention to detail and commercial discipline.

- Experience with consumer products, wellness, regulated products, or international e-commerce sectors.
- Familiarity with working alongside manufacturers, suppliers, or production partners in an international context.
