Position Overview

This position entails providing strategic medical guidance and leading the development of experimental oncology agents within the TCO portfolio, beginning from preclinical development through to clinical First in Human and Phase 1b/2 studies. The role involves crucial responsibilities in leading and coordinating the planning, execution, and interpretation of oncology early-phase clinical trials.

Responsibilities

As an integral part of the BioMedical Research division, you will play a key role in implementing medical strategies for assigned global clinical programs. Your responsibilities will encompass:

  • Acting as a clinical leader, driving the implementation of medical strategy and operational deliverables for investigational products in a specific therapeutic area.
  • Ensuring effective cross-functional communications to align with the global strategy and leading the development of clinical sections of trial and program level regulatory documents.
  • Serving as the medical expert and engaging with external stakeholders, including regulatory authorities, key opinion leaders, and advisory boards.
  • Contributing to medical and scientific training of relevant stakeholders, and potentially serving as a speaker for such training.
  • Leading global initiatives aimed at process improvement, training, and development of standard operating procedures.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:

  • A medical degree, with oncology board certification preferred, along with a PhD level in basic science or equivalent expertise.
  • A minimum of three years of Clinical Development experience within the pharmaceutical or biotech industry in Oncology.
  • Strong knowledge of Good Clinical Practice, clinical trial design, regulatory processes, and global clinical development processes.
  • Excellent communication, writing, and organizational skills, with proficiency in English (both written and spoken).
