Position Overview
Join our dynamic team, where you will play a crucial role in shaping the scientific and clinical strategy of key clinical trials within our Immunology Development Unit. Your expertise will guide the development and execution of protocols while ensuring the integrity and quality of clinical data.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide clinical leadership and strategic medical input throughout the project/program lifecycle, including protocol development, data review, and regulatory submissions.
- Collaborate with global team members, including Global Trial Directors and regional medical associates, to drive program execution.
- Oversee and conduct medical and scientific reviews of trial data, potentially serving as a study medical monitor.
- Support overall safety management of the molecule, collaborating with the Patient Safety team on safety reporting.
- Contribute to internal and external stakeholder interactions, including regulatory authorities and key opinion leaders.
- Facilitate the transition of pre-PoC projects to DDP, in conjunction with research and business development teams.
- Mentor and support the professional development of colleagues and new team members.
- Contribute to medical training for stakeholders and may serve as a speaker for the franchise.
- Engage in global initiatives including process improvements, training programs, and standard operating procedure development.
Qualifications
- MD or equivalent medical degree required; board certification preferred.
- Minimum of 4 years of clinical practice experience, including residency.
- 5+ years of experience in clinical research or drug development within the pharmaceutical/biotech sector.
- Demonstrated success in conducting clinical trials across all phases in a global environment.
- In-depth knowledge of therapeutic areas and the clinical development process.
- Proficient in GCP, trial design, statistical analysis, and regulatory frameworks.
- Experience in people management, ideally in a global or matrix structure.
- Strong interpersonal, business communication, and negotiation skills.
