Main Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on support during API production campaigns with a strong presence on the shop floor during critical process steps, including reaction setup, reaction, work-up, and crystallization.
• Monitor and document process parameters, conduct initial data analysis, and contribute to process monitoring and continuous improvement within a GMP-regulated environment.
• Manage quality by handling deviations (Quality Events), participating in root-cause analyses, and supporting IPC double checks (In-Process Controls).
• Prepare, review, and update production-relevant documentation such as SOPs, batch records/HVO, and work instructions in close coordination with Production, Quality, and HSE teams.

Your Profile

• Degree in Chemistry (Master / Dipl.-Ing.) or related field from a University or FH.
• Initial relevant experience in organic synthesis and/or API or fine chemical production within a GMP environment.
• Familiarity with GMP, HSE, and preparative organic chemistry, ideally with experience in shop floor process support.
• Additional experience with PCS / Siemens-based recipe systems and common root-cause analysis methods is advantageous.
• Fluency in German (spoken and written); English proficiency is desirable.
• A practical mindset, a strong sense of responsibility for the quality of documentation, and a willingness to collaborate with shift teams (early/mid/late shifts).
