Project Leadership Opportunity

We invite interested candidates to explore a role that involves planning, conducting, and steering a significant project aimed at the development and implementation of a standardized funding mechanism for healthcare services (EFAS). This role encompasses the management, tracking, and coordination of the project while also facilitating communication regarding the project’s progression.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan, conduct, and steer the project related to the uniform funding of healthcare services (EFAS).
• Organize and coordinate various working groups across the Directorate General of Health, and participate in relevant processes.
• Manage additional institutional projects and provide expertise in the execution of complex and/or cross-functional projects.
• Prepare responses to parliamentary inquiries (interpellations, motions, etc.) related to EFAS, and produce notes intended for the Directorate General of DGS and the leadership of the department.
• Act as a point of reference for various partners in the Romand cantons, depending on identified themes.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in political science, social science, economics, or a related field.
• Project management training is required.
• Professional experience in managing complex projects.
• Understanding of the functioning of public administration and the Swiss healthcare system, including its funding mechanisms.
• Strong analytical and synthesis skills, with a comprehensive vision.
• Leadership qualities, decisiveness, and determination.
• Ability to lead projects and manage relationships with partners.
• Excellent organizational, listening, and communication skills.
• Strong writing skills.
• Proficiency in German (minimum B2 level).
