Qualifications & Competencies

• Completed vocational training as a cook in the hotel/catering industry
• Experience in a comparable role within the upscale hotel/catering sector
• Attention to detail, creativity, and reliability
• Resilience, flexibility, and enthusiasm
• Strong knowledge of English; proficiency in additional languages is an asset
• Service-oriented with a positive demeanor
• Ability to work in a structured and organized manner
• Capacity to thrive under pressure and collaborate effectively with team members
• Willingness to work split shifts

Key Responsibilities

• Provide support and report directly to the Kitchen Supervisor and Sous Chef
• Uphold cleanliness standards in accordance with HACCP regulations
• Prepare fresh ingredients and cook dishes following specified menus
• Ensure proper storage of food products
• Operate kitchen equipment safely and responsibly
• Manage a station with one to two team members
