Mission Overview

In this engaging role, you will be the primary representative of Matchbox Solutions to leading aviation industry stakeholders, including DCS providers, IATA, SITA, and manufacturers of kiosks and self-service technologies. Your responsibilities will position Matchbox as the industry reference for travel document validation.

Key Responsibilities

• Build and nurture senior-level relationships within the aviation technology ecosystem.
• Lead strategic partnerships, business development initiatives, and high-level negotiations.
• Drive the integration and recognition of Matchbox across industry platforms, standards, and products.
• Collaborate with product, marketing, and strategy teams to align market needs with innovation.
• Provide expert insights on industry trends, competitor activities, and growth opportunities.
• Contribute to sales targets and revenue growth through strategic industry partnerships.

Candidate Profile

• A university degree in business administration, aviation management, information systems, or a comparable qualification.
• A proven track record in business development, industry relations, or partner management within the aviation sector.
• Experience in representing a company in international forums and standardization bodies.
• Strong knowledge of passenger processing, regulatory compliance, and airline IT systems.
• Project management skills are a plus.
• Experience in sales, business development, or stakeholder management is advantageous.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills in English; proficiency in additional languages is an asset.
• An extensive professional network within the aviation IT and ground handling industry, particularly with DCS providers, IATA, SITA, and kiosk manufacturers.
• Solid knowledge of MS Office applications.
• A willingness to travel occasionally (up to ~20%) as business needs arise.
