Your Role
This position provides an opportunity to collaborate with various departments and external partners. Responsibilities include:
- Leading supplier price and contract negotiations to secure optimal terms.
- Developing and implementing category strategies that align with business goals.
- Driving cost reduction initiatives across assigned categories.
- Establishing and maintaining a strategic supplier panel for long-term security.
- Sharing market insights with stakeholders to support strategic decisions.
- Organizing and conducting regular business review meetings with key suppliers.
- Ensuring competitive pricing through strategic sourcing.
- Managing supplier contracts and ensuring compliance.
- Meeting key performance indicators focused on cost management and supplier performance.
- Building strong supplier relationships and securing long-term contingency planning.
- Fostering cross-functional collaboration to align procurement strategies with corporate objectives.
- Engaging in active communication and negotiation with suppliers for best-value outcomes.
Your Qualifications
To thrive in this role, candidates should possess:
- A Master's degree in Business Administration or equivalent experience, with a deep understanding of the industry being a plus.
- Over 5 years of proven experience in procurement or supply chain, emphasizing strategic sourcing and supplier relationship management.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- A demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams and drive cost-saving initiatives.
- Strong negotiation skills and experience in complex contract negotiations.
- Forward-thinking, self-directed, and decisive capabilities that enhance business performance.
- Project management skills to support procurement initiatives.
- Familiarity with ERP systems and digital procurement tools.
- Fluency in written and spoken English (Level C1); knowledge of additional languages is advantageous.
- Willingness to travel approximately 5-10% of the time.
