Join Our Team as a Business Development and Sales Professional
We are looking for a driven individual to contribute to our expanding business across both winter and summer activities. Our focus is on attracting clientele from China and Mandarin-speaking regions in preparation for the upcoming 2026 seasons and beyond.
Key Responsibilities
- Connect and network with Asian clients to attract and engage new customers.
- Build relationships with prospective clients while strengthening existing partnerships.
- Negotiate contracts for strategic collaborations.
- Promote and sell our Mandarin-speaking tours to the China and Taiwan markets.
- Assist in developing appealing tour offerings for Mandarin-speaking clients for both winter and summer seasons.
- Translate website pages and marketing materials into Mandarin.
- Create detailed and descriptive documents aimed at Mandarin-speaking clients.
- Respond to pre-arrival inquiries from Mandarin-speaking clients efficiently.
- Participate in internal training and onboarding processes.
- Deliver training to fellow instructors on effectively engaging with Mandarin-speaking clients.
- Maintain an in-depth knowledge of our offerings, including accommodations, activities, and resort information.
- Ensure guests are informed about concierge services and be available for assistance when needed.
- Provide hosting and guiding services for Mandarin-speaking clients throughout their tours.
- Offer feedback to management on product development and guest experiences.
- Perform other duties as specified in the employment contract.
Essential Qualifications
- Fluency in Mandarin alongside a university degree related to the Mandarin language.
- Proficiency in English.
- Comprehensive understanding of Chinese culture and societal nuances.
- Experience living in China or Hong Kong.
- Background in sales and marketing.
- Instructor qualification/license (BASI2 or higher equivalent).
- Strong interpersonal skills and a friendly demeanor.
- Familiarity with the 4 Valleys ski area.
This full-time, long-term role is based at our headquarters in Verbier, Valais, with opportunities for travel to China for networking and promotional activities.
