Business Development Role in Switzerland

Sazerac is enhancing its footprint in Switzerland and is seeking a commercially driven individual to foster the next phase of growth in this premium market.

This position offers a remarkable chance for an ambitious commercial talent to take ownership in the field, working closely with customers and trade partners while directly contributing to the enhancement of Sazerac brands.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop Sazerac brands by building distribution and enhancing visibility across various channels including cocktail bars, premium hotels, restaurants, nightlife venues, and convenience stores.
  • Translate brand plans into actionable strategies across priority venues with an emphasis on assortment, visibility, pricing, activation, and reorder discipline.
  • Create and convert a pipeline of priority customers in German-speaking Switzerland, with selective expansion into French and Italian regions as necessary, actively engaging customers and establishing execution standards.
  • Collaborate closely with Sazerac’s Swiss importer to align on key accounts, customer strategies, stock availability, pricing, and sales team activation.
  • Develop relationships with regional wholesalers and convenience partners, connecting customer demand to appropriate supply routes for consistent repeat business.
  • Assist in the formulation and execution of a commercial plan for Switzerland, determining optimal brand positioning across various channels and customer types.
  • Coordinate the local route-to-market ecosystem, ensuring that strategic priorities are executed consistently across all market participants, from direct customers to distribution partners.
  • Act as the commercial liaison between strategy and execution, ensuring thorough follow-through on market opportunities from initial discussions to performance tracking.

The successful individual will embody a strong commercial drive, deep understanding of the drinks and hospitality culture, and possess solid knowledge of the Swiss market with a demonstrated commitment to results.
