smartNsales is a SaaS-enabled marketplace connecting FMCG brands and markets across Switzerland and beyond. We are experiencing growth and are seeking an individual to take charge of our marketing function from start to finish.
The Opportunity
As the inaugural marketing hire, you will collaborate closely with the founders on various aspects including brand development, content creation, marketing campaigns, and sales enablement. This role offers significant ownership and opportunities for professional growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Build and maintain our brand identity and positioning across all customer touchpoints in English, French, and German.
- Convert product features into clear value propositions tailored for our target audiences.
- Execute demand generation and B2B email campaigns to enhance the sales pipeline.
- Manage and optimize our website while improving SEO performance.
- Develop sales materials, including pitch decks, one-pagers, case studies, and outreach sequences.
- Oversee our presence on LinkedIn and other social platforms with a consistent publishing schedule.
- Create visually appealing content for social media, presentations, and marketing campaigns.
- Transform product updates and milestones into engaging content formats such as blog posts, newsletters, and explainer videos.
- Assist with event participation and public relations outreach.
- Monitor and report on marketing performance on a monthly basis.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Minimum of 2 years experience in B2B marketing; experience within SaaS or marketplace environments is an advantage.
- Proficient in translating SaaS features and data into compelling business value propositions for potential clients.
- Experience with retail or FMCG brands is desirable.
- Fluency in English and German is required; proficiency in French is highly regarded.
- Comfortable utilizing AI tools as part of daily operations.
- A proactive self-starter who identifies areas for improvement and takes initiative to address them.
- High motivation level with a strong work ethic and ability to get things done efficiently.
- Residing in or near Lucerne, with the ability to commute to our central headquarters in Luzern.
