Science and Research Department

Be a part of our multidisciplinary team as we aim to develop innovative products through the implementation of process design and bioprocess development for bacterial and cell culture systems. You will work with our core automation platforms, Lucullus PIMS, and thrive in a collaborative and agile environment.

Your Profile

• Academic engineering degree in bioprocess technology (MSc or equivalent) with a specialization in fermentation and process design; experience as a biotechnologist (2-3 years) or a PhD in this field is advantageous.
• Experience as an individual contributor to multidisciplinary projects involving bioprocess monitoring, control, and automation.
• Enthusiastic about complex systemic interrelationships, showcasing independence, solution-oriented thinking, and effective communication skills.
• Hands-on experience in qualification and optimization during the development phases of new products, covering upstream processes, results evaluation, documentation, and reporting.
• Experience in planning and executing experiments based on experimental design (DOE) along with familiarity with analytical methods; programming skills in Python and MATLAB are a plus.
• Fluency in German and English is required.
• Must possess the legal right to work in Switzerland.
