Role Overview

We are seeking a dedicated professional to support and maintain the Viking Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations application. This role involves analyzing business requirements, determining feasibility, and making thoughtful solution recommendations to enhance our systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Support monthly and quarterly Microsoft system upgrades.
• Code, document, and implement project specifications.
• Participate in application architecture functions.
• Design and develop solutions within the Microsoft Dynamics platform.
• Gather and document business requirements effectively.
• Design, develop, and unit test various solutions.
• Perform data conversions as required.
• Learn the intricacies of our core products and system integrations.
• Manage time effectively, prioritize tasks, and communicate commitments clearly.

Key Qualifications

• Strong technical skills in Dynamics AX / D365 F&O, particularly in Financial Management modules like General Ledger, Accounts Payables, Accounts Receivables, Fixed Assets, and Cash & Banking.
• Understanding of the platform and integration capabilities, with proficiency in utilizing Lifecycle Services (LCS) and VST.
• Experience with Visual Studio using X++, IDE AX/D365FO, JavaScript, and relevant frameworks.
• Proven experience in developing ETL packages using SSIS.
• A minimum of 5-7 years of relevant experience with Dynamics AX / D365 FO.
• Ability to craft technical vision by linking requirements to technical solutions, articulated through design documents.
• Experience using Data Entities (OData) and cloud-native application development on Azure.
• Capable of effective communication with both technical and non-technical audiences.
• A keen eye for identifying opportunities for technical and process improvement.
• A friendly, patient, and professional disposition.

Education

Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related discipline.

Nice to Have Qualifications

• Familiarity with ExFlow and TAS, ISV products integrated in D365.
• Experience with data analysis and Power BI reporting.
• Proficiency with Jira.
• Background in agile software development techniques.
