Responsibilities

In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing financial control and compliance with regulatory frameworks in the reporting of subsidized entities. Your critical analysis skills will enable you to evaluate economic aspects, financial statements, and management reports of these entities to draw conclusions effectively.

  • Conduct expertise on specific files and mandates, including financial analyses and process studies.
  • Execute audits of applying authorities in social action and other subsidized entities to ensure compliance with service delivery (individual aid and grants), accounting practices, governance adequacy, and adherence to regulatory frameworks.
  • Master the control environment and, based on a critical risk analysis, develop a planning process for the audits to be conducted.
  • Support the management and other transversal units of the General Directorate of Social Cohesion (DGCS) in their internal control tasks and in executing recommendations from supervisory authorities.
  • Maintain a timeline and continuously track the progress of implementing recommendations issued by supervisory authorities, ensuring compliance with deadlines in collaboration with relevant management teams.
  • Review draft legislation, orders, regulations, directives, or any other administrative decisions under consultation.

Qualifications

  • Possession of a degree in business management, economics from a university or a higher education institution, or a federal diploma in finance and controlling or an equivalent qualification.
  • A minimum of 4 years of experience in accounting review, auditing, or management control.
  • Excellent knowledge of various audit methodologies and social security systems.
  • Proficiency in using management software tools, office applications, and databases.
  • Strong stress resilience, with effective time and priority management.
  • Able to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.
  • Adherence to norms and procedures.
  • Strong sense of responsibility and developed public service ethics.
  • Exceptional analytical and synthesis capabilities, with a good sense of perspective.
