Audit - Manager / Senior Manager - Trade, Industries & Services - US GAAP - Zürich

Key Responsibilities

You will conduct thorough audits for clients in the Trade, Industries & Services sector. Your responsibilities include:

• Executing integrated audits for companies preparing financial statements in compliance with United States Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (US GAAP) and filing with the Securities Exchange Commission (SEC).
• Performing statutory audits on companies preparing financial statements according to Swiss law.
• Overseeing audits of private companies that adhere to International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS).
• Managing audits of non-financial reports, including ESG audits.
• Preparing audit files for Partner review and assisting in presenting audit results to management or the Board of Directors.

Client Engagement

You will develop new and extend existing relationships with clients, providing support on technical accounting matters. Your role allows for personal responsibility, flexibility, and professional development.

Desired Qualifications

• Over 5 years of demonstrable experience in a comparable role at a Big 4 firm.
• Extensive technical knowledge of US GAAP, US GAAS, IFRS, SOX, and PCAOB standards.
• Completion of the US CPA qualification or an equivalent credential.
• Experience in managing large multi-location audits, demonstrating effective client and network management capabilities.
• Proven success in building and sustaining strong relationships with senior management across local, regional, and corporate levels.
• A collaborative team player who can effectively report to Partners.
• Exceptional English verbal and written communication skills; proficiency in German is advantageous.
