The ideal candidate will have a strong background in precision mechanical assembly, experience working to technical documentation, and a disciplined approach to quality, safety, and traceability.

Responsibilities

  • Assemble and integrate solid-propellant rocket motor components according to approved technical drawings, work instructions, and assembly procedures.

  • Conduct pre-assembly and post-assembly inspections to verify component identity, batch numbers, and product conformity.
  • Complete manufacturing documentation and assembly records accurately to ensure full traceability of components and subassemblies.
  • Package completed rocket motors and energetic assemblies in accordance with internal procedures and applicable ADR/SDR transportation requirements.
  • Handle, store, and manage energetic materials, propellant components, and initiators while adhering to strict safety regulations.
  • Support incoming inspection activities and identify non-conformances, ensuring potentially non-compliant materials are appropriately segregated.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe production environment.
  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives aimed at enhancing assembly processes, quality, and operational efficiency.

  • Ability to work independently while following established procedures and safety protocols.
  • Fluent in German or English.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience within a regulated or safety-critical industry, such as Aerospace, Defence, Medical Devices, or Weapons and Ammunition Manufacturing.
