Artificial Intelligence Program and Product Manager

Role Overview

The individual will manage the complete lifecycle of AI products within the newly formed AI Center for Excellence at Bank J. Safra Sarasin. This position requires the translation of the Bank's AI strategic vision into a detailed roadmap of initiatives, bridging the divide between intricate engineering capabilities and tangible business value. The goal is to ensure that every deployed AI solution generates a significant business impact while remaining compliant.

Key Responsibilities

• Define and manage the AI product portfolio by utilizing Value Engineering to prioritize use cases based on ROI, business impact, and technical feasibility.
• Serve as the main interface among Product, Engineering, Legal, Compliance, and Business teams to align stakeholders and expedite decision-making.
• Lead the end-to-end delivery of AI programs including Generative AI, intelligent automation, and chatbots, employing Agile/Scrum/Kanban methodologies.
• Ensure all AI products comply with stringent data privacy and security standards, managing the risk profile of AI deployments within a private banking environment.
• Oversee the entire product lifecycle from discovery and prototyping to production, monitoring KPIs, OKRs, and user satisfaction metrics after launch.
• Promote the adoption of AI tools throughout the bank, providing training for non-technical stakeholders, and translating technical AI metrics into business outcomes.
• Collaborate with external technology partners and internal procurement to assess and integrate third-party AI platforms and LLM providers.

Ideal Profile

• A university degree in Business, Information Technology, or Engineering; an MBA or advanced degree in a technical field is highly preferred.
• Over 10 years of experience in IT Program/Product Management, with a minimum of 3-5 years concentrated on AI/ML, Cloud (AWS/GCP/Azure), or Digital Transformation projects.
• Demonstrated expertise in stakeholder engagement.
• Exceptional communication skills, with an ability to influence C-level stakeholders and lead technical teams effectively.
• Fluency in English, with additional languages considered an advantage.
