Key Responsibilities
- Disassemble and assemble Pratt & Whitney PW4000 and CFM International CFM56-5/7B series engines in accordance with the manufacturer's instructions.
- Perform replacement, repair, and inspections on aircraft engines and modules.
- Measure control of the assemblies in mounted condition.
- Execute orders independently and maintain self-control of performed tasks.
- Prepare and provide Field Assistance Support at any location in the world.
- Document activities in accordance with regulations.
- Conduct general routine activities for tooling, equipment, and ensure tidiness within the QTS organization.
Qualifications
- Completed vocational training as a polymechanic, plant/machine mechanics, or equivalent.
- At least 3 years of relevant working experience within the Aviation MRO industry.
- Flexibility and willingness to travel on short notice to perform Field Assistance Support at any location is a must.
- Preferably authorized to certify engines under EASA Part 145/Part 66.
- Willingness to work in two shifts and flexibility to work on weekends.
- Good communication skills.
- Ability to carry out assigned tasks independently, precisely, and responsibly.
- Open-minded and dedicated team player.
- High safety, quality, and cost awareness.
- Knowledge of MS Office.
- English language skills (minimum level B2); German language skills are advantageous.
