We are looking to welcome a skilled professional to our Techfirm Industrial Services team, located in Switzerland. This is an exciting opportunity to tackle new challenges with us!

Your Responsibilities

• Design mechanical principles and system architecture during the project upfront phase.
• Define mechanical interfaces with suppliers while ensuring appropriate support and follow-up.
• Distribute and prioritize tasks and sub-projects among project-assigned staff according to available manpower capacity, staff skills, and task constraints.
• Create engineering 3D models and 2D drawings for mechanical parts, assemblies, and installation, adhering to engineering mechanical design rules and processes.
• Ensure compliance with CPR instructions, BIGs, project milestones, and quality requirements.
• Motivate and guide assigned staff to meet project goals concerning schedule, quality, and cost.
• Implement a design-to-weight and design-to-cost approach aligned with project requirements.
• Address risk items promptly, identify project roadblocks, and close gaps between activities performed and contracted scope.
• Manage revisions and concessions on 3D parts, assembly drawings, and installation drawings.
• Prepare, check, and release certification and compliance documentation; participate in tests and prepare related reports as required.

What You Bring

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field from an accredited university.
• Several years of experience in mechanical engineering and management.
• Proficiency in CAE and CAD tools (e.g., AutoCAD, Catia V5, Siemens NX, TeamCenter) and Microsoft Office.
• Strong communication skills and a positive team spirit.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and constantly changing environment.
• Fluent in English (oral and written); proficiency in French and/or German is a plus.
