Role Overview

The role provides finance leadership in executing the organization's due diligence and integration strategy for relevant merger, acquisition, divestiture, and joint venture projects. Serving as a recognized subject matter expert, it involves leading and mentoring teams to coordinate and implement accounting and finance activities for pre and post-close transitions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Policy Maintenance & Improvement: Lead and advise on the development, maintenance, and improvement of due diligence and integration playbooks and checklists, ensuring effectiveness, efficiency, and consistency while mitigating risks.
  • Playbook Execution: Mentor in coordinating and implementing financial due diligence and integration playbooks across all finance functions, reporting risks and issues promptly to relevant offices.
  • Due Diligence: Cultivate partnerships with third-party providers and implement diligence activities, validating agreements according to established finance standards.
  • Integration & Separation: Collaborate with finance planning, operations, accounting, treasury, and tax teams to develop integration and separation plans, leading third-party valuation support.
  • Accounting Support: Coordinate the setup of corporate and local financial organization hierarchies, ensuring accurate purchase price accounting or sales balance sheet models.
  • Result Reporting: Lead the integration of results into financial and management reporting processes across departments.
  • Drives Inclusivity: Influence and model inclusive culture, addressing issues timely with appropriate partners.
  • Pipeline Reporting: Provide updates to finance leaders on the deal pipeline to inform on risks and align integration strategies.

Qualifications

A minimum of 6 years of relevant work experience is required, typically reflecting at least 10 years or more in the field.
