Your Role and Responsibilities

  • Provide administrative support for a research group of approximately 15 members.
  • Manage the research group's finances and budget, including oversight of research grants.
  • Handle personnel administration, including contracts and related tasks.
  • Prepare annual reports and manage general administrative duties.
  • Assist with events organized by the research group.
  • Conduct correspondence in both English and German.

Your Profile

  • Strong background in secretarial work and administration or hold a university degree (e.g., BSc in Business Administration).
  • A minimum of 3 years of professional experience as an administrative assistant or secretary.
  • Experience in an academic institution, particularly a Swiss university, is highly valued.
  • Service-oriented, dynamic, and a strong communicator.
  • Excellent English and German language skills, both written and spoken.
  • Ability to work independently and with precision.
  • Enjoyment in collaborating as part of a team.
  • Proficient in computer skills, including MS Office and SAP.
  • Innovative mindset with a flair for solution-oriented, unbureaucratic approaches.
