About the Role
Responsibilities:
- Lead the end-to-end delivery of workflow automation solutions, from process discovery to deployment and optimization.
- Design and implement scalable automation using business process management and robotic process automation technologies.
- Translate business and user needs into efficient, automation-first solutions that reduce manual effort.
- Identify high-impact automation opportunities through collaboration with cross-functional stakeholders.
- Ensure all automation solutions comply with enterprise platforms, security, compliance, and governance standards.
- Collaborate with business, technical, and operational teams to drive adoption and achieve measurable outcomes.
- Utilize systems thinking to analyze, model, and redesign processes to prepare them for automation.
- Act as a hands-on subject matter expert and mentor, building automation and process capabilities across teams.
- Promote best practices, frameworks, and reusable solutions to enhance organizational automation maturity.
- Contribute to a culture of rapid delivery, innovation, and continuous improvement through artificial intelligence-enabled approaches.
Essential for the Role:
- 7+ years of experience in designing and delivering end-to-end workflow automation solutions.
- Proven ability to create scalable automation solutions through business process management and robotic process automation technologies.
- Strong systems thinking skills with experience in analyzing and redesigning complex processes for automation readiness.
- A curious mindset that drives continuous improvement and change.
- Excellent collaboration and communication skills, effectively working across diverse teams.
- Ability to influence stakeholders in a complex, matrixed environment without formal authority.
- Practical understanding of artificial intelligence and its application in automation or transformation initiatives.
- Experience in the life sciences, pharmaceutical, or similarly regulated environments.
Desirable for the Role:
- Experience in pharmaceutical drug discovery or supporting scientific research workflows.
- Experience in mentoring or developing others in automation, process engineering, or artificial intelligence.
