Our Impact
The ETH AI Center is a pivotal component of Switzerland’s expanding AI ecosystem. Our signature event, the AI+X Summit, has rapidly gained recognition as one of the nation’s largest and most vibrant gatherings for AI research, industry engagement, and policy discussions. In 2025, we co-launched the Zurich AI Festival in partnership with the Greater Zurich Area, enriching our outreach initiatives. Additionally, we play a crucial role as co-initiators and core stakeholders of AI House Davos, a prominent platform for global discourse on trustworthy AI during the World Economic Forum.
Position Overview
We are seeking a dedicated professional to manage the digital infrastructure supporting our events. This role is vital for ensuring seamless registration processes and creating visually appealing, functional event websites. Your contributions will enhance the user experience for thousands of participants and partners, ensuring our events operate with precision and impact.
Responsibilities
- Lead the development and maintenance of the ETH AI Center’s digital infrastructure for events.
- Set up and manage event webpages and applications, along with registration systems.
- Develop automation workflows to streamline event operations, ensuring efficient execution of flagship events.
- Collaborate with the Event Manager and Communications team to maintain clean, functional, and on-brand public-facing content.
Qualifications
- A university degree, preferably with a focus on AI topics or international affairs.
- Professional fluency in English; proficiency in German is advantageous.
- Extensive experience in building web applications, form builders, and automation tools (e.g., AEM, Make.com, Google Developer Console, Typeform, Inxmail, Mailchimp, Zapier, Wix Velo).
- Proficiency in JavaScript and understanding of APIs, including webhook-based data transfer and third-party service integrations.
- Skills in structuring and querying databases, maintaining clean data schemas, and troubleshooting sync errors.
- Confidence in working with analytics dashboards and reporting key metrics (Google Analytics, basic SEO, UTM tagging).
- Experience in managing event websites and online registration pipelines, especially in high-profile or multi-stakeholder settings.
- Solid understanding of user experience, digital design, and accessibility standards.
- Ability to collaborate with various teams, aligning digital infrastructure with strategic goals.
- Bonus: Familiarity with data privacy practices (GDPR compliance), CRM integrations, or handling waitlists, ticketing, and participant communication.
