Position Overview

As a pivotal member of our international team, you will provide visionary leadership and strategic execution in the realm of global ground station development and operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement the GSaaS strategy across all product lines, deployments, and support services.
• Oversee the integration of RF, baseband, cloud, and network components into a comprehensive GSaaS solution.
• Build and manage a high-performing team of integration engineers, field leads, and project support personnel, deploying ground stations globally.
• Lead ground station planning and execution for system installations, site activations, and field validation at customer and partner locations.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Engineering, Product Management, Operations, and Customer Relations to align GSaaS implementation with customer needs and technical requirements.
• Act as the executive point of contact for high-priority customer onboarding, escalations, and technical assessments.
• Manage budgets, schedules, risk assessments, and resource plans for all GSaaS projects.
• Contribute to product development roadmaps by providing feedback on system performance and deployment challenges.
• Represent the Operations team with commercial customers, strategic partners, and internal leadership.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Systems Management, or a related technical field; a Master’s degree is preferred.
• Over 15 years of professional experience in systems integration or deployment within the SATCOM, RF communications, aerospace, or telecom sectors.
• Experience with large aperture antennas, including LEO tracking solutions.
• 10+ years of experience leading technical teams, programs, or departments.
• Strong understanding of SATCOM ground infrastructure including RF systems, modems, antennas, and signal processing chains.
• Proven track record of managing complex SATCOM integration programs across multiple sites or customers.
• Exceptional communication and organizational skills, with the ability to engage effectively with executive leadership and external partners.
• Willingness to travel internationally up to 40% of the time.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with commercial GSaaS platforms (e.g., AWS Ground Station, Azure Orbital, KSATlite) or proprietary ground networks.
• Familiarity with cloud-native and virtualized SATCOM architectures (e.g., containerized modems, digital IF).
• Experience supporting commercial satellite missions in Earth observation, IoT, or broadband verticals.
• Working knowledge of automated deployment, orchestration, or infrastructure-as-code frameworks.
• Relevant certifications such as PMP, INCOSE CSEP, or AWS Solutions Architect.
