Position Overview

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement comprehensive communication strategies that align with corporate goals and enhance the organization’s reputation.
  • Oversee all internal and external communication matters, ensuring timely and effective messaging across all channels.
  • Provide direct support to the Executive Vice President and the Management team in developing core narratives, media briefings, and cross-functional projects.
  • Manage and strengthen relationships with external stakeholders, including the general public, shareholders, investors, and government entities.
  • Promote and protect the organization’s reputation through proactive media engagement, crisis communication planning, and strategic messaging.
  • Build functional competencies and develop the communications organization to ensure it is fit for the future.
  • Lead, coach, and develop the Communications team, ensuring flawless execution of global and regional priorities.

Qualifications

  • Advanced degree (Master’s or MBA preferred) in Communications, Public Relations, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Extensive experience in communications and public relations within a complex multinational organization in pharma or FMCG.
  • At least 5 years’ experience in senior leadership roles with a strong track record in setting communications strategies.
  • Excellent stakeholder engagement capabilities and ability to navigate complex, matrix settings.
  • Ability to maneuver diverse cultural landscapes and tailor communication strategies to global audiences while respecting local nuances.
  • Demonstrated leadership capabilities to drive innovation and development within the affiliates.
  • Experience in leading, coaching, and developing teams.
  • High resilience with experience in crisis management.
  • Exceptional communication, presentation, and consulting skills.
