Role Overview

In this critical position, you will play a key role in our advanced development initiatives aimed at enhancing quantum computing control systems. Collaborating with our team of experts, you will identify relevant technologies and partners while refining proposals for future solutions based on technical feasibility, risk assessment, and commercial evaluations.

Your Responsibilities

• Extend our technological base to solidify our leadership in quantum computing control electronics.
• Enhance our technology roadmap, targeting 10x improvements over existing state-of-the-art products.
• Foster collaborations with technology partners.
• Evaluate theories and simulations of technologies while conducting practical validations of prototypes.
• Collaborate seamlessly with internal stakeholders including application scientists, key account management, product management, R&D, and operations.

Your Profile

• PhD in Electrical Engineering, Physics, or a related field with equivalent experience.
• Strong background in quantum computing control electronics.
• Broad understanding of relevant technological trends.
• Excellent communication skills, with a passion for learning and sharing knowledge.
• Ability to delve beyond surface-level technology and assess relevance effectively.
• Experience in simulation and modeling, preferably including quantum simulations with QuTiP or similar tools.
