Role Overview

In this role, you will be part of a strategic supply chain organization, collaborating closely with the Global Category Manager Components, based in Baden, Switzerland. We are looking for a proactive and motivated professional to take ownership of technical supply engineering, focusing on the service parts portfolio within the Components category. Key Responsibilities

  • Proactively establish and manage a robust value chain in collaboration with the service organization and category management, including reviewing technical documents and aligning quality requirements.
  • Support selected suppliers, manage RFQ processes, and prepare supplier selection decisions while providing frequent updates to internal customers.
  • Oversee short-term orders through the re-launch phase until parts are available for customer service.
  • Assist in supplier relocation and consolidation activities as directed by category management.
  • Conduct master data analysis and ensure accurate maintenance.

Candidate Profile

The ideal candidate will have:

  • A completed vocational training in production or design engineering, with further education in Supply Chain Management or Logistics considered advantageous.
  • A high degree of flexibility, customer focus, persistence, and excellent communication skills combined with a hands-on approach.
  • A strong technical and/or production background.
  • Fluency in both German and English.
  • A willingness to travel approximately 10% of the time.
