About Us

ANAVIA specializes in the design, development, and manufacturing of vertical takeoff and landing (VTOL) systems with a capacity of up to 500 kilograms. We offer industry-leading unmanned helicopter systems tailored for various mission profiles, including Surveillance & Reconnaissance, Inspection, Mapping, and Cargo.

Your Role

The primary focus is to ensure timely, cost-effective, and quality-compliant procurement of technical components, materials, and services for UAV and aviation systems, while adhering to operational and regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Procure technical components, assemblies, materials, and services.
  • Request, evaluate, and negotiate supplier quotations.
  • Select, manage, and maintain supplier relationships.
  • Monitor purchase orders, deliveries, and lead times.
  • Support make-or-buy decisions.
  • Collaborate closely with Engineering, Production, and Quality teams.
  • Maintain purchasing and supplier data within the ERP system.
  • Support cost optimization and supply chain risk mitigation activities.

Additional Responsibilities

  • Support Engineering with supplier sourcing and technical procurement activities.
  • Ensure material availability for Production and Operations.
  • Assist with supplier evaluations and performance reviews.
  • Support engineering change management and material phase-in/phase-out activities.
  • Contribute to inventory management and stock optimization initiatives.

Competencies & Skills

  • Solid understanding of mechanical, electrical, and electronic components.
  • Knowledge of procurement and supply chain processes.
  • Understanding of quality requirements and documentation practices in regulated industries.
  • Ability to interpret technical drawings, bills of materials (BOMs), and specifications.
  • Ensure material availability to support production and development schedules.
  • Manage supplier performance regarding quality, cost, and delivery.
  • Support continuous improvement of procurement processes.
  • Maintain accurate procurement records and documentation.
  • Strong negotiation and communication skills.
  • Structured and proactive working style.
  • Analytical problem-solving ability.
  • Strong organizational and coordination skills.
  • Reliability and attention to detail.

Qualifications

  • Technical or commercial education, preferably with a technical background.
  • Experience in technical purchasing, procurement, or supply chain management.
  • Experience in UAV, aerospace, aviation, electronics, or high-tech industry is advantageous.
  • Proficiency with ERP systems.
  • Good written and spoken skills in German and English; additional languages are a plus.
