Key Responsibilities

  • Serve as line manager and technical lead for the GT control system engineering and execution team.
  • Develop and engineer the GT control system hardware.
  • Specify GT monitoring systems and field instruments while designing I&C field loops.
  • Integrate and document GT protection requirements and safety instrumented systems in accordance with applicable codes and standards.
  • Configure and execute the GT control system scope as part of GT customer projects in alignment with contractual requirements.
  • Interface and coordinate with project management for seamless project execution.
  • Support erection and commissioning activities both from the office and on customer sites.
  • Define and optimize technical guidelines as well as engineering and execution processes.

Qualifications

  • Advanced degree in electrical or automation engineering, or a related field.
  • Over 5 years of professional experience in the design and project execution of automation systems for power or process plant engineering.
  • Familiarity with design directives and codes & standards in automation, instrumentation, controls, and functional safety.
  • Strong commitment to delivering solutions and results in line with quality, time, and cost targets.
  • At least 2 years of experience in a line management role with proven leadership and mentoring skills.
  • Proficient in English; knowledge of German is beneficial, and Italian is an asset.
